Beacon of Light

When I look into your soul

I see God's firm hold

And He has complete control

Of all that you are.

Like a newborn child,

Faith and joy piled,

God's spirit dialed

Into your heart.

You have a heart of gold.

God's spirit flows

And you He holds.

He'll not give up.

I see stars in your eyes,

A glimmering shine,

A beautiful sunrise

From the Heavens erupt.

A tender soul that's come so far.

God has placed you where you are

To make a difference to the scarred

And lead them to their savior.

A beacon of light

To guide through the night

The lost and contrite

To repent of their behavior.

They've got so much to learn,

And, oh, how they yearn

To escape the burn

Of the fallen.

You show the way

As you humbly pray

And with what you portray

Until they hear God's calling.
